Filming in Paris was an experience we won’t forget. Following three young artists—a musician, an actress, and a painter—as they drift through the city in search of inspiration, we wanted to capture the quiet moments where their worlds subtly echo one another, carried by Paris’ mix of jazz and classical tones. Shooting on analog film made the project even more special. It added a warmth and texture that felt true to the city itself, revealing Paris with a softness and charm that digital could never quite match. From the buzzing streets around Saint-Germain to the intimate corners where creativity seems to linger in the air, the film became as much a portrait of Paris as of the artists. Looking back, the production felt like a celebration of creative spirit—ours included. “Orphéon” is not only a tribute to Diptyque’s fragrance, but also to the unique energy that comes from creating something together in a city that has inspired generations.
